The Stir Strap was created for one simple reason: to make mixing heavy materials easier, safer, and more controlled. But the idea did not come from theory—it came from a lifetime of working with my hands, solving problems, and finding better ways to get the job done.
My work experience and work ethic began at eight years old, helping my father turn his small-town New York hot dog stand into a full-service restaurant. At sixteen, I worked under a master cabinetmaker, learning skills and techniques that stayed with me throughout my career. Over the years, I worked as an industrial painter, operated my own painting business, studied Natural Resource Conservation, trained under another master carpenter, and became a maintenance technician specializing in machinery, electronics, automation, plumbing, and building systems. Through every stage of my career, I continued working with drywall compound, mortar, grout, cement, and other heavy materials—and it was that lifetime of hands-on experience that ultimately led me to create The Stir Strap. I live in a small town in upstate NY with my long-time girlfriend and our two dogs
